Future Bikes is an independent bike shop in central Colchester, and we're dedicated to helping more people enjoy the freedom and benefits of cycling. Since opening in Rowhedge in October 2022, we’ve grown into a trusted Colchester cycle shop, driven by a genuine passion for bikes and our commitment to the cycling community.
Future Bikes is run by Matthew and Adam, who together bring over 30 years of cycling industry experience. As experienced cyclists and bike specialists, we pride ourselves on offering honest advice, expert servicing and friendly support, whether you’re new to cycling or a seasoned rider.
We believe cycling has the power to improve everyday life, from better health to more sustainable travel. That’s why we’re passionate about getting people out of their cars and onto bikes. We welcome cyclists of all ages and abilities and aim to make cycling accessible, enjoyable and inclusive for everyone.
As authorised dealers for leading bike brands including Trek, Merida, Lapierre and MiRider, we stock a wide range of bikes to suit every rider. Our selection includes road bikes, mountain bikes, folding bikes and electric bikes, with options for commuting, leisure and adventure.
